Organizers aim to bring a million protesters to Washington in largest Black Lives Matter demonstration yet
That's more like it! Peaceful protests, and aggressively pushing for legislation that addresses the issue!
1 > I have no regard for Karen Bass. I have regard for most Liberals, but little for their Representatives.
2 > I have little regard for many of the people that she needs to work with, to push this through.
3 > As a Libertarian, I believe, as Henry David Thoreau once wrote, that the Government governs best, which governs, least: Most Legislation is raw sewage, hammered through by corrupt Politicians, seeking not the public good, but Power and Money. So while I am impressed that Karen Bass is striking while the iron is hot, the most important consideration must be whether or not her Legislation, as proposed, is indeed the most effective way of exposing and exterminating any remnants of racism that yet infect our sacred institutions. Running headlong into flashy and prematurely ejaculated Legislation is a path to failure, not success: Measure twice, cut once.
