Ironic, isn't it? 70 years after hundreds of loyal Americans were silenced, censured, stripped of their very capacity to earn a living, and, in some cases, driven to suicide, simply for political disagreements with the wrong people at the wrong time ~ or for simply associating with politically unpopular people! ~ their political descendants, as it were, are ferociously and venomously reversing the roles, silencing, censuring, and attempting to destroy the very capacity to earn a living of those horrible right-wingers who believe in America.

The language is deeply ironic, yes? "Drive the Reds out of TeleVision, Radio, and Hollywood!"

My, how roles have reversed. What's happening now is a mirror image of 1950.
